Round off your next trip with our very own Tate coffee and a slice of something sweet in our Members Room
Nestled around the Rotunda at the heart of the gallery, the Members Room at Tate Britain provides a contemplative space that's sure to help you relax after an exhibition.
The unique space was closed to visitors in the 1920’s and was later home to the Director’s office as well as Tate’s Library and Archive. It was then transformed into the glorious Members Room that we know today.
The beautiful space was only made possible with the help of Tate Members who contributed a remarkable £1 million towards its incredible transformation.
It is a space that warrants the cost of membership alone.
